Tough materials for the win** Indispensable in an industrial look? Use raw materials such as brick, concrete, steel, or rustic wood to give your home a strong dose of character. Whether you want to go big with a brick wall or make a statement with a concrete poured floor: it’s up to you! For a warmer appearance, go for floors with a concrete look or with a brushed, aged, or gray effect. Also popular among interior lovers: a steel interior door with large windows. Don’t overdo it with decoration** For an industrial living style, the motto applies: less is more. With accessories, it’s best to adopt a less is more attitude. Rugged but subtle functional elements such as vintage cookware or a factory tap for the bathroom are therefore ideal. **2. Don’t mix different floors** A fan of that spacious feeling that’s so typical of the industrial living style? Then it’s best to choose one floor type to create an open and harmonious whole. Mixing different floors is not a good idea here. **3. Don’t make the whole look too cold** Do you want to soften the sharp edges of your industrial interior? Then mix your tough materials with soft textiles. Fabrics such as wool, cotton, and linen provide the perfect contrast and add extra coziness to your space. Choose cushions or curtains in an accent color and round shapes to break up the clean lines. A real recommendation?
