Deze stoere woonstijl, geïnspireerd op oude fabrieksgebouwen en lofts, is eenvoudig door te trekken in je hele huis of gemakkelijk te combineren met andere stijlen. Voor wie zijn woning graag in een industrieel jasje wil steken, delen we alvast een aantal belangrijke do’s en don’ts. ## **Do's** **1. Stoere materialen for the win** Onmisbaar bij een industriële look? Gebruik ruwe materialen als **baksteen, beton, staal of rustiek hout** om je woning een flinke dosis karakter te geven. Of je nu groots wilt uitpakken met een bakstenen muur of een statement maakt met een betonnen gietvloer: jij kiest! Voor een warmere uitstraling ga je voor **vloeren met een betonlook of met een geborsteld, verouderd of grijs effect.** Ook populair onder interieurliefhebbers: een stalen binnendeur met grote raampartijen. In combinatie met houten vloeren met karakter creëert dit een warme sfeer en laat het je ruimte direct groter aanvoelen. Kies voor industriële kleuren** Wil je de ruimte luchtig en fris houden? Kies dan voor **neutrale tinten** zoals grijs, zwart, bruin, blauw of beige. Combineer je monochrome kleurenpalet met een warme **accentkleur** zoals mosterdgeel, mosgroen of aardetinten, zoals terracotta om de koele ruimte in balans te brengen. Vintage meubels in je interieur** Van een stoere lockerkast tot oude schoolstoelen: **vintage meubels** zijn dé perfecte match voor een industrieel interieur. Ook **leer** voegt een robuuste, maar sfeervolle touch toe en combineert moeiteloos met beton, hout of staal. Met een cognackleurig designzetel  ben je alvast helemaal op de goede weg! Tip: Wil je niet 100% voor een industriële look gaan? Overdrijf niet met decoratie** Bij een industriële woonstijl geldt het motto: overdaad schaad. Bij **accessoires** ga je dan ook best voor een *less is more* attitude. Stoere, maar subtiele gebruikselementen als vintage kookgerei of een fabriekskraan voor in bad zijn dan ook ideaal. **2. Mix geen verschillende vloeren** Fan van dat ruimtelijk gevoel dat zo typerend is voor de industriële woonstijl? Dan kies je best voor één vloertype om een open en harmonieus geheel te creëren. Verschillende **vloeren mixen is hier geen goed idee.** **3. Maak het geheel niet te koel** Wil je de scherpe kantjes van je industrieel interieur halen, mix dan je stoere materialen met **zachte textielen**. Stoffen zoals wol, katoen en linnen bieden het perfecte contrast en voegen extra gezelligheid toe aan je ruimte. Kies voor kussens of gordijnen in een accentkleur en ronde vormen om de strakke lijnen te doorbreken. Een echte aanrader?
